Delete Your Meroo Account

Meroo is an app by Elephanty, Inc. This page explains how to delete your Meroo account and the data linked to it, whether or not you can still use the app.

How to delete your account

In the mobile app (iOS and Android)

1. Open Meroo and go to Profile.
2. Tap Delete account at the bottom of the screen.
3. Tap Send code. We email a confirmation code to the address on your account.
4. Enter the code, tap Delete my account and confirm.

In the web app

1. Sign in at app.getmeroo.com.
2. Select Delete account in the header.
3. Select Send code, enter the code we email you, select Delete my account and confirm.

Without access to the app

Email admin@getmeroo.com from the address on your account, with the subject Delete my account. Before deleting anything, we confirm the request by replying to that address. We don’t act on a deletion request sent from a different address.

What is deleted

• Your account: email address, name and sign-in codes.
• Your profile and career details, including anything imported from a résumé.
• Your track progress, your scores and the written assessments of your answers.
• Your simulation conversations.

Deletion is permanent. A deleted account can’t be restored. Signing up again with the same email address creates a new, empty account.

How long it takes

• Your account stops working as soon as you confirm, and you are signed out.
• Your data is erased within about 15 minutes, and we email you when it’s done.
• If something delays the deletion, we complete it within 15 business days of your request.

What may be kept, and for how long

A few records outlive the deletion for a limited time.
